  • Hollywood has given hypnosis a bad rap (thanks a lot, Hollywood) but in reality, it is a well-studied and widely used modality that provides an easy way to access your subconscious beliefs and either strengthen or change them.

    Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis to bring you to a deeply relaxed and focused state where you can work on the goals that matter most to you and address the deep-seated beliefs leading to habits and patterns that don’t serve you.

    You can be hypnotized, though it might not feel like you expect. You'll likely feel calm, euphoric, focused, secure, and relieved while still being somewhat aware of where you are.

    Hypnosis feels different for everyone, and there’s NO 'right way' to experience it.

    When you join Getting Good, I walk you through Hypno 101 where we explore FAQs, setting up your space and mind for hypno, and even how to hypnotize yourself.

  • The effectiveness of any hypnotherapy recording depends on the practitioner & their understanding of you.

    Instead of making basic recordings that could apply to literally anyone, I target the specific needs of the group. For example, a free recording might offer a “go to sleep” session, whereas Getting Good offers specific recordings like “Nap + Wake Refreshed” or “Enjoy a Dreamless Sleep” that have been customized to members like you.

    Hypnotherapy practitioners vary in quality and certifications. I hold a certification with the International Association of Counselors & Therapists (a premier association for holistic practitioners) and the International Hypnosis Federation.

    I suggest you never work with a Hypnotherapist who has not gone through training — your mind, thoughts, and beliefs are sacred and you don’t want just anyone in there.
